While the new calendar launched with a devastating earthquake in the Noto Peninsula, Jackie arrived mid-month to meet with her amazing board of directors collaborating to lead FEW Japan to new heights. In her volunteer hat as President and Representative Director of FEW Japan Not-for-Profit Association, Jackie was incredibly happy to attend both the December Bonenkai and Shinenkai to meet up with so many longtime friends, colleagues, and all of the dynamic women of our increasingly diverse community. Women’s empowerment communities that have the most impact are queer-positive, anti-racist and intersectional by design.
