enjoi Japan K.K., an innovative Diversity, Equality, Innovation (DEI) edutech and consulting startup, is now incorporated and preparing to launch DEI workshop retreats in the beautiful mountainous valley of Shinshu, Nagano in the coming months. The consultancy offers services such as speaking engagements, workshops, DEI audits and policy creation.
enjoi founder, Dr. Jackie F. Steele is a trilingual political science professor, published author, and longtime Japan resident. Dr. Steele works with leaders to build holistic people systems design and executive education that will support sustainable mindset-change for the long game. enjoi Japan supports an intersectional view of diversity, and the team also includes an interdisciplinary group of diversity education and policy experts from all walks of life.
When implemented thoughtfully as a business strategy, DEI can promote business growth and innovation, by encouraging a robust competition of ideas and insights. DEI should be an organizational effort and a team effort, to truly represent diversity and inclusion. As the enjoi Japan mission says “We share the joys of building solidarity across diversities.”
After being chosen for the ImpactTech accelerator program in March 2021, enjoi Japan became incorporated on July 15th. The company is based in Nagano prefecture, offering DEI training and services throughout Japan. The enjoi Japan office space, housed in a traditional Japanese-style building, will also be the location of upcoming DEI workshops and training retreats.
